Training is an essential element of law enforcement. Our officers exceed the amount of training required by state law to ensure the safety of our citizens. We train in various aspects of the law. We strive to provide well educated and professional officers. The training department responsibilities include scheduling training for officers and keeping accurate employee records. The objective of the Wellford Police Department is to educate and maintain professional officers. The safety of our citizens is our top priority.
